Custom mobile apps, business software and web platforms built by a local NT team — for small businesses, sole traders and community organisations who want technology that actually fits how they work.
No jargon. No offshore call centres. Just a Territory team you can actually sit down with.

Support after your app goes live
Built and supported here in the NT
What We Build
Off-the-shelf software makes you change how you work. We build the app or system around the way your business already runs — then support it long after launch.
Native and cross-platform iOS and Android apps — booking apps, field service tools, member apps and customer-facing products, built and published to the App Store and Google Play for you.
Job management, quoting, inventory, rostering, compliance logs — bespoke business software for Darwin and Alice Springs operators who have outgrown spreadsheets and sticky notes.
Secure customer portals, member dashboards, booking systems and internal tools that work in any browser — no installation, no licence fees per desk.
Scalable cloud applications hosted on AWS and Microsoft Azure, so your team can work from the office, a remote site or the road — with data backed up and secured.
We connect the tools you already pay for — Xero, MYOB, ServiceM8, Shopify, Microsoft 365 — so information flows automatically instead of being retyped three times.
Interfaces designed around the people who will actually use them — your staff and your customers — so the software gets used instead of abandoned after a fortnight.
Our Work
A snapshot of apps and software platforms designed, built and supported by our team.
Who We Build For
Most of the people we build for aren't tech companies. They're tradies, clinics, retailers, not-for-profits and one-person operations who need software to stop getting in the way.
You've got a team, a growing customer list and a pile of admin nobody has time for.
You've got an idea for an app, or a manual process eating your evenings.
You need software that meets reporting, privacy and accessibility obligations.
How It Works
You'll always know what's happening, what it costs and what happens next. No surprise invoices.
We sit down — in person or online — and work out what you actually need. No cost, no obligation.
You get a written scope and a fixed price in plain English, so there are no nasty surprises later.
We map the screens and show you a clickable prototype before a line of code gets written.
We build in stages, show you progress as we go, and test on real devices before anything goes live.
We publish, train your team, and stay on to maintain and improve it. We don't disappear at handover.
Why True Blue
Plenty of app developers will quote you from Sydney, Melbourne or overseas. Then the time zones, the call centres and the "we'll get back to you" begin. We're up the road.
Meet us face to face on Cavenagh Street or in Todd Mall — not over a support ticket.
Same time zone, same working week, and 24/7 support when something can't wait.
ICT Business of the Year 2023, and a Microsoft, AWS and Shopify partner.
You'll get a written scope and a fixed quote before we start. No hourly-rate creep.
Ongoing maintenance, updates and IT support from the same team that built it.
Australian Government Subsidised
True Blue is a delivery partner for the Digital Solutions program — Australian Small Business Advisory Services, funded by the Australian Government. If you have an active ABN, fewer than 20 full-time staff and you're trading in the NT, you're likely eligible. Free workshops and webinars, or one-on-one advisory covering apps, business software, AI tools, cyber security and digital workflows. Sole traders welcome.
$110 inc. GST — 5 hours, one-off. Financial hardship? Talk to us, it can be no cost.
Common Questions
It depends entirely on what the app has to do. A simple booking or information app is a very different job to a full job-management platform. That's why we start with a free consultation and give you a written scope and a fixed quote before any work begins — so you can make a decision on real numbers, not a vague hourly estimate.
Small apps and internal tools often go live within 6–10 weeks. Larger platforms with integrations, user accounts and reporting typically run 3–6 months. We build in stages so you see working software early rather than waiting until the end.
Yes. We build native and cross-platform apps for iOS and Android, and we handle the App Store and Google Play submission process for you — including the developer accounts, store listings and review requirements.
That's often the most valuable part of the job. We integrate with Xero, MYOB, ServiceM8, Shopify, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and most platforms with an API — so your data moves automatically instead of being entered by hand in three different places.
We stay on. Operating systems update, requirements change and businesses grow — so we offer ongoing maintenance, updates and 24/7 IT support from the same team that built your software. You're not handed a codebase and left to find someone else.
We do. Our offices are in Darwin and Alice Springs, and we work with businesses across the Northern Territory and interstate. Everything can be run remotely, but if you're in the Territory you also get the option of sitting down with us in person.
Absolutely — that's how most projects start. Book a free consultation and we'll help you work out whether an app is the right answer at all, what it would realistically involve, and what a sensible first version looks like. If a simpler solution would do the job, we'll tell you that too.
Book a free, no-obligation consultation with our Darwin or Alice Springs team. Bring your idea, your spreadsheet, or just your frustration — we'll take it from there.
Or email [email protected] — we answer.
